Item description
-
An archival pigment print is made using pigment-based inks on fine art paper, rather than the dye-based inks used in standard photo printing. Pigment inks sit on the surface of the paper rather than absorbing into it, which means the print resists fading, moisture, and UV damage far better over time.
Properly cared for — kept out of direct sunlight — an archival pigment print can last well over 100 years without noticeable colour or tonal shift. It's the standard used by galleries, museums, and fine art photographers for work intended to last.
-
Unframed prints are printed with a white border around the image to protect the edges of the print during handling and framing.
Framed pieces are mounted full bleed, so no border is needed or visible — the framing itself protects the print.
-
Because there's no single standard paper size across the collections, so we'd always recommend taking your print to a custom framer, and they'll be able to mount and frame it correctly.
If you'd rather not deal with sourcing a framer, framed options are available or you can get in touch for made-to-order framing.
-
A limited edition means only a fixed number of prints of each artwork will ever be made. Once that number is reached, no further prints are produced — the edition is closed permanently
-
No. Buying a print gives you ownership of that individual physical piece, not the copyright to the image itself. Copyright remains with the artist at all times.
-
Your artwork will be accompanied by a registered Certificate Of Authenticity. Each print is individually numbered, with that number recorded on your certificate.
We suggest storing it in a safe place, as it's your proof of authenticity.
-
Your COA is the official proof of your artwork’s value and edition number. Please store it securely. If your certificate is lost or damaged, please contact us immediately. As part of our collector care service, we will happily reissue and register a replacement certificate for you (which will permanently invalidate the lost original number). We only ask that you cover the secure shipping cost to have the new certificate delivered to your door.
